Eric Ahlers is the Head of Strategy at Netze BW, one of the largest distribution system operators and part of the EnBW Group. His responsibilities cover business development, strategy, and sustainability. Since 2017, he has represented Netze BW in regulatory and political matters.

Eric brings over 20 years of experience in grid regulation, drawing on a background in energy economics. He has held leadership roles across energy associations, contributing to the development of regulatory frameworks and smart grid initiatives that modernise distribution networks.
